Famous Field Trips

$ 25.00

We love the Lowcountry, and we believe it is a special place that deserves our respect, attention, and our love of learning.

Our Famous Field Trips are a turn-key solution to a meaningful day of Science educations for students and teachers.  We investigate, explore, and immerse ourselves in the natural habitat of Charleston, SC.

We provide the transportation, the food, and engaging hands-on standards-based environmental activities for school groups.  We like to limit the group size to 10-12 students and a teacher, but for certain trips, we can accommodate up to 24 participants.

Along with the immersive outdoors learning environment, your team will engage in team-building activities, share a meal, and make meaningful memories that reflect your student's values.  Participants just need close-toed shoes and a willingness to get a little dirty.

Some example events include:

  • Learn about biomes through clean-up and restoration work at Cypress Gardens.
  • Explore biodiversity by rebuilding oyster reefs with the SC DNR SCORE Project.
  • Support community-based agriculture with a workday at Sweetgrass Garden.

There are plenty of possibilities; we also coordinate with other Lowcountry nonprofits.  We are happy to arrange outings to the SC Aquarium, The Center for Birds of Prey, and other environmental organizations like Charleston Waterkeeper.

Prices start at $25 per participant ... and of course please contact us directly for more detailed information.
