The Best of Charleston
Famous Adventures offers week-long, full-day camps throughout the summer, for kids in rising 1st through 9th grade, from locations in West Ashley and Mt Pleasant. Campers experience all the best Charleston activities: surfing, kayaking, dolphin tours, SC Aquarium, water parks, and more. Each day is a new outdoor adventure in the Lowcountry.

We envision a world in which campers grow up to become positive community members and environmental stewards. Campers learn about our core values: Responsibility, Outdoors, Curiosity and Kindness through teachable moments, led by our highly qualified instructors.
Safety First
Famous Adventures is a proud member of the American Camp Association, and we are the only private camp in Charleston that meets the ACA standards, including administration, safety, and program design. Our admin team attends national conferences and takes continuing education courses in camp management. Your camper's safety and well-being is our #1 priority.
As a parent, I was most impressed by the professionalism, organization, perfect blend of fun and maturity of camp counselors, and safety measures. It was an incredibly hot couple weeks of summer and the camp counselors were 100% prepared with AC, shade breaks, popsicles x 2, ice cubes and water activities.
